Healing through the power of the human-animal connection

Ellen Boucher (she/her) is the proud owner of The Little Blue Coop. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Dalhousie University ('17) and has dedicated her career to improving health and wellbeing outcomes of children and families. Ellen has held various social work roles with Nova Scotia's Department of Community Services, Halifax Regional Centre for Education, Phoenix Youth Programs, Shelter Nova Scotia, and the IWK Health Centre. 

​Ellen is also a mom of two and currently works as a Parent Educator with the IWK. She enjoys reading, volunteering with community-based initiatives, and exploring all Nova Scotia has to offer with her family.
